Shri. Man Mohan Bhanot, Ambassador
Shri. Man Mohan Bhanot, an Indian Foreign Service Officer, is a Graduate of Science from University of Delhi. Prior to his Diplomatic Service, he has successively served in Life Insurance Corporation of India and United Bank of India. He is married to Ms. Nidhi Bhanot, and they have a son and a daughter.
As a Diplomat, Ambassador Bhanot has earlier served in different capacities in Moscow, Kampala, Madrid and Almaty, and in due process has acquired varied experience in Consular, Commercial, Protocol and Administrative Affairs. In his last assignment, he was Director and a Member of Professional Personnel in the CICA (Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia) Secretariat in Almaty. In recognition of his job here, he was awarded President of Kazakhstan’s Gold Medal.
Ambassador Bhanot believes that there is a solution to any problem subject to the clarity of our vision emanating involuntarily and essentially from a compassionate state of mind. He has a leisure pursuit of rediscovering ancient wisdom, and therefore loves to be in Syria, the cradle of civilizations. However, while in Syria, he deeply regrets for the present turmoil and loss of lives in this beautiful country. He prays for a peaceful resolution of the crisis at the earliest!
