Syria has a relatively small Indian community; about 80 individuals including family members. A few of them are professionals working with UN and other International Organizations. Some Indian technical and management professionals are also employed in big Syrian companies like MGC, Adra Steel, Al-Hawash Private University, etc. The total number also includes Indian teacher/students engaged in theological institutes in Saida-e-Zeinab.
Indian community members are requested to register themselves with Embassy.
