"Know India Programme" Portal Launched

Launch Of Portal For Know India Programme

 

Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India has launched a portal www.kip.gov.in External website that opens in a new window under the ‘Know India Programme’ (KIP), an initiative to strengthen engagement with young overseas Indians on 17 June 2017.

The Know India Programme is an engagement programme for diaspora youth (between the age of 18-30 years) of Indian origin to introduce them to India and promote awareness about different facets of Indian life, our cultural heritage, art and the transformation taking place in India. This programme is open to youth of Indian origin (excluding non-resident Indians).

All Indian origin youths who are interested to join the Know India Programme (KIP) can apply online for the programmes which will be organized in 4 phases in 2017 with partner States.

Indian-origin youth can submit applications on the KIP Portal online for the following first four KIPs to be held in 2017 i.e. 41, 42, 43 & 44:

To know further details about KIP viz. eligibility and other guidelines candidates are advised to visit the KIP Portal at www.kip.gov.in External website that opens in a new window.

The applicants can indicate their preferences online for any three KIPs.

Applications can be submitted online by the overseas Indians from 23 June to 21 July 2017. Candidates are advised to submit their applications online well within the deadline of 21 July 2017.
