Passport Seva Divas

1. Passport Seva Divas is commemorated every year on 24 June to mark the enactment of the Passports Act on 24 June 1967.

2. This year, the Passport Seva Divas will be marked through a Video Conference, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will be chaired by Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister with the participation of all 36 Passport Offices.

3. The event will be held from 1500 to 1600 hrs (IST). The proceedings of the Passport Seva Divas will be live-streamed on the Ministry of External Affairs' YouTube Channel (www.youtube.com/user/MEAIndia).

4. Members of the Indian Community are invited to join the event using the above-mentioned link.
