Celebrating the Constitution Day of India

On 26 November 2020, the Embassy of India celebrated the Constitution Day of India. During the event Ambassador Suresh K. Reddy highlighted the importance of the Constitution and the spirit behind it which has enables us to enjoy the benefits of a free society, free speech, freedom to practice religions. He added that the Indian Constitution was an attempt to form a bridge between a past marked by differences, and a future dedicated to establishing an equal and just society. The Constitution reflects the spirit of independent India. He also spoke about the preamble of the Constitution and the relevance of the ideals and values that guides the Indian society. A short video of the history of the Constitution was also screened during the event. The event was attended by 15 Brazilian journalists.
