Celebration of Constitution Day (26 November 2021)

The Government of India will celebrate the संविधान दिवस (Constitution Day) on 26 November 2021 to commemorate the day of adoption of Indian Constitution as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.  On this occasion, Hon’ble President of India will be leading the celebrations of Constitution Day live from Central Hall of Parliament on 26th November 2021 from 11:00 AM (IST) onwards (0230 hrs BRT). The occasion will be graced by Vice-President, PM, Speaker, Ministers, MPs and other dignitaries and the whole of India will be a part of these celebrations through live streaming of the function on Sansad TV/DD/Other TV channels and online portals.  To mark the celebrations an online quiz competition is also being organised.  The webpage link for the reading of the Preamble and for participation in the Quiz competition is given below:

The portals for “Reading Preamble to the Constitution” and “Online Quiz on Constitutional Democracy” will be operational on 26 November 2021.

The Embassy invites all members of the Indian community in Brazil to join and read the Preamble to the Constitution with Hon’ble President of India.  Alternatively, they can also read the Preamble and also participate in the Quiz and get the online Certificate and send a copy of the Certificate to the Embassy at culture.brasilia[at]mea.gov.in.
