The Valediction Ceremony of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Special Course on Foreign Policy for Indian Media’ was held today at the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS). Smt. Meenakashi Lekhi, Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs & Culture, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In her valedictory address, the Hon’ble Minister of State provided an overview of the global celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. She also presented mementos and certificates to the participants of the Special Course. The week-long Special Course on Foreign Policy for Indian Media , held jointly by SSIFS and the External Publicity Division of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), was organised as a part of MEA’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav iconic week. 21 journalists from Hindi, English and regional media organisations participated in the course.
