65th Know India Programme on 07 February 2023

Participants of the 65th Know India Programme (KIP) visited the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS) of the Ministry of External Affairs on 07 February 2023 for a half-day orientation programme. Thirty-eight young Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) from eleven countries took part in the Programme. The orientation programme at SSIFS, which was inaugurated by Ms. Manika Jain, Additional Secretary (OIA-II) and Ms. Nilakshi Saha Sinha, Joint Secretary (SSIFS - FT & NRG), included modules on India and India’s foreign policy.

The KIP is a flagship initiative for diaspora engagement which familiarizes Indian-origin youth (18-30 years) with their Indian roots and contemporary India through a 21-day orientation programme organized by MEA’s Overseas Indian Affairs (OIA) - II Division.
