65th Professional Course for Foreign Diplomats

Professional Course for Foreign Diplomats (PCFD) affirms the commitment of India to its friendly countries in sharing the knowledge and expertise acquired in the field of diplomats’ training. This is the flagship programme of the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) of the Ministry of External Affairs. 65th Professional Course for Foreign Diplomats was held at the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India on March 7 - April 6, 2018. 51 young diplomats from various countries were participated. The Special Course was inaugurated at FSI on7 March 2018. Amb. J.S. Mukul, Dean (FSI) also hosted a welcome reception for the Foreign Diplomats of 65th PCFD.

The Course included modules on India’s foreign policy, key international issues, multilateral diplomacy and diplomatic skills. The foreign diplomats got an exposure to India’s economic and technological development and undertake study tours to experience the rich cultural heritage of India.
