WHERE TO OBTAIN VISA IN TURKMENISTAN
Indian visa in Turkmenistan can be obtained from the Embassy of India, Ashgabat at the following address:

On Line Visa Application 
WORKING HOURS
Visas applications can be submitted at the Consular Wing of the Embassy of India, Ashgabat from 10:00 AM to 12:00PM on all working days. Visas can be collected from the same place on the specified dates from 5 PM to 6 PM. Visa Fee Structure (effective from 01 April, 2017.)

General Instructions for Visa Applicants
1) Visa application should be complete in all respects giving the correct address, passport number, telephone no. etc.
2) Two recent passport size photographs should be attached along with the application.
3) Visa fee is accepted only in US Dollars.
4) As per the existing guidelines of MHA, carrying satellite phones by foreigners into India is banned. All foreign nationals are requested to note this and refrain from carrying satellite phones while visiting India.
Other Instruction on Visa types are as follows:
Business Visa
1) It is not meant for petty business/trade.
2) Persons of sound business/financial standing only should apply along with the relevant documents.
Student Visa
1) Invitation letter from Government recognized colleges/institute should be submitted.
2) Applicants should have proper educational certificates.
3) Written approval from guardians regarding his/her study plan in India should be enclosed.
4) A valid medical certificate should be provided.
5) Applicants should have knowledge of English language.
Medical Visa
1. Applicant should provide documents related to illness
2. Proper invitation letter from the hospital in India for the treatment should be enclosed.
ICCR
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations offers annual scholarships to Turkmen students to pursue Graduate and Post Graduate studies in India. The interested students should have knowledge of English and should have completed at least 12 years of education (School education + other courses).
