Indian Community

Turkmenistan has a small Indian community of around 100 members.  They are mostly employed in construction and oil and gas sectors. Most of the Indian nationals are based in Ashgabat and Balkan Province. Those who work in oil and gas sectors visit Turkmenistan for small duration to accomplish specific projects assigned to them by their company. Prominent companies employing Indian nationals include M/s. Pamposh Construction Pvt. Ltd. (Indian Company), Dragon Oil, DAMAC, ENI, ILK Insaat, Al Gamma, Ronesans, Petronas etc. There are no Indian Associations in Turkmenistan at present.
