How to Apply for Global Entry:

Citizens of India are eligible for Global Entry. Applications must be submitted through CBP’s Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) website  External website that opens in a new window External website that opens in a new window

With effect from 1st October 2019 the application for background check for GEP for Indian citizens in Bahrain are acceptable at Embassy of India, Bahrain. Application Process for background check for GEP is as follows:

1. Apply Online with US CBP: Apply and complete application process at TTP website https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry  External website that opens in a new window External website that opens in a new window of US CBP.

2. For the applicants presently living in Bahrain, after completion of step ‘1’, he/she needs to submit the requisite information in the website of Global Passport Seva Project (https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/  External website that opens in a new window External website that opens in a new window) for completion of background check in India. After completion of online submission, he/she should submit the application at IVS (outsourced agency) office, along with the applicable fee of BD 9.5 and required original documents.
