On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day of India, High Commissioner Shri Manish hoisted the National flag at the High Commission complex. He read out the address of the Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu to the Nation on the eve of Independence Day. This was followed by a brief cultural programme. The event was graced by the presence of members of the Indian diaspora and friends of India, all gathered in celebration of this significant milestone in the nation's history.

High Commissioner Mr. Manish had a productive meeting with President of Larnaca Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Dr. Nakis Antoniou and other members of the Chamber. Opportunities for collaboration within Indian Universities were discussed, including joint research, dual degrees and twinning programs.
