Business Visa Three categories of Business visas may be granted to an Afghan national, based on the purpose of business travel: B1 - Long Term - For those who wish to visit India to establish an industrial/business venture or to explore possibilities to set up industrial/business venture in India, purchase or sell industrial products or commercial products or consumer durables. B2 – Short Term – For all business purposes except those mentioned in B-1 and B-3 visa, including but not limited to attending business meetings, exhibitions, trade fairs, monitoring of ongoing projects, teaching in private institutions, recruitment and training etc. B3 – Sports Visa - For those who are engaged in commercial sports events in India on a contract (including coaches) with remuneration (B3), Documents required for “B1”: Long Term Business Visa: - Copy of passport with at least 6 months’ validity from the date of proposed arrival date in India.
- Copy of E-Taskira or paper Taskira attested by National Statistics & Information Authority.
- Polio vaccination certificate.
- Jawaz / Business license copy duly attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Afghanistan
- Letter from the employer / company sponsoring business visits of the applicant OR Invitation letter from registered Indian company on the company’s official letterhead.
- Current bank account statement of the applicant for last 6 months showing a minimum balance of USD 10,000.
- Copy of transactions done with Indian Business entity in last 6 months.
- Please note that following the visa-interview the Embassy of India could at its discretion request further documentation from the applicant.
Documents required for “B2”: Business Visa: - Copy of passport with at least 6 months’ validity from the date of proposed arrival date in India.
- Copy of E-Taskira or paper Taskira attested by National Statistics & Information Authority.
- Polio vaccination certificate
- Jawaz / Business license copy duly attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Afghanistan
- Letter from the employer/company sponsoring business visits of the applicant
- Invitation letter from registered Indian company on the company’s official letterhead.
- To and fro airlines ticket
- Please note that following the visa-interview the Embassy of India could at its discretion request further documentation from the applicant.
Documents required for “B3”: Business Visa: - Copy of passport with at least 6 months’ validity from the date of proposed arrival date in India.
- Copy of E-Taskira or paper Taskira attested by National Statistics & Information Authority.
- Polio vaccination certificate
- Letter of invitation from recognized Indian institution/board specifically mentioning the purpose and duration of visit.
- Please note that following the visa-interview the Embassy of India could at its discretion request further documentation from the applicant.
