Fifth Global Ayurveda Festival (GAF 2023) in Kerala from 1st December to 5th December 2023- India.

The Fifth Global Ayurveda Festival (GAF 2023) is being organized in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India from 01-12- 2023 to 05- 12-2023 by a consortium of Ayurveda fraternity with support from Government of India -Ministry of AYUSH, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Tourism and Government of Kerala.

GAF, a biennial get-together of Ayurveda fraternity started in 2012, has proudly represented and showcased the rich Ayurveda heritage and has played a considerable role in being a bridge between this great tradition of India and the global community, eagerly waiting for knowledge, care, products, and collaborations. In addition to helping create a stronger global footing, it has also helped to open new opportunities for global business, academic and research tie-ups and increase the flow of health, medical and general tourists. With the success of four editions of the Global Ayurveda Festival held in 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2021(virtual) attracting huge participation and also with the presence of eminent personalities like Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble President of Mauritius Mr. Raj Keswur Purryag, GAF has increased the bar of expectations from the 2023 edition.

GAF 2023 is planned to create the widest impact any program on Ayurveda has ever envisaged. The organizers are expecting about 7500 delegates from 75 countries – researchers, academicians, practitioners, and students and nearly 2,50,000 visitors to visit the Expo.

The three major components pf GAF are- International Seminar, Global Ayurveda Exhibition, and an International Cooperation Conclave.  Among them, the International Cooperation Conclave is a platform for global networking and collaboration between Ayurveda practitioners, researchers, and experts from around the world. It will happen in three major sessions:

  • GLOBAL AYURVEDA ALLIANCE to create a Global Ayurveda Alliance with representatives from all the countries where Ayurveda has a presence in one form or other.
  • GLOBAL AYURVEDA STATUS MEETING A session to know the status of Ayurveda outside India and to explore possible from either side of the borders the possibility to collaborate and make knowledge, products, and services.
  • GLOBAL SOFT POWER SUMMIT (TRADITIONAL MEDICINE) an attempt to bring together official representatives of all countries having a traditional medicine background to share experiences and strategies.
