Prof. Abdul Ghafoor Liwal

Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Liwal is Deputy Minister, Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs since July 2015. Prior to this he was Director of Regional Studies Center of Afghanistan (RSCA), and has served Afghanistan through many other positions.

Mr. Liwal is a Journalist and has served in human rights related institutions too.

Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Liwal holds M.A (Master of Art) Faculty of Languages and Literature, Department of Pashto of Kabul University.

He has taught Pashto language in various Institutions. Besides he has written dramas and radio programs for Radio and TV of Afghanistan, VOA. He is also Member of Poets and Writers Association of Afghanistan.

4- Arshak aw Awshas a historical story in poetry;

5- De Wreshamo Tol about criticism of Pashto poetry in 20th century;

6- Kala Che Ta Khapa She Collection of Poetry;

7- The Theory of Kid’s Literature;

8-De Nelofaro Kese the Collection of Short Stories about Afghan Women.

9- De Try shaze, translation poetry

10- Lam aw Alino a historical story in poetry;

11- The basic methodology of Pashto Language teaching ( De Zhabe de Tadres Awsol ) 

And more than 120 of his articles have been published through different magazines and newspapers about Literature, History, Criticism, and sociology.
