High Commission of India for Maldives has opened doors for interested architectural firms to send in their expression of interest to design the Indian High Commission Diplomatic Complex to be built in Male’.

According to Indian High Commission announcement, interested parties are to send in proposal for planning and design of the project.

“Which will include architectural, landscaping, interior and other associated services, preparation of master plan for entire site, drawings and documents for all stages of the project including obtaining approvals from local statutory authorities, preparation of tender documents based on template provided by High Commission, tender processing, and periodic supervision of design implementation during the construction phase of the project.”

The Diplomatic Complex, which will be built on 8,500 square feet of land will include a chancery, cultural center, residences, as well as associated and ancillary structures for Indian High Commission.

Deadline to send in proposals is March 21, 5:30 pm.

The Diplomatic Complex is to be built on land that once housed Male’ Nursery.
