The new Indian High Commissioner to the Maldives, His Excellency Akhilesh Mishra has arrived in the Maldives.
Upon arrival at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport by the First Secretary of the Indian High Commissioner Amarnath and diplomats of the Commission.
Up until his appointment to the role, Mishra was serving as Consul General in Toronto. He had served in many roles in Indian Foreign Ministry.
His predecessor, Rajiv Shahare is now serving as Ambassador in Denmark, effective from the 29th of December. He had served in his role for 2 years and 9 months. |
