High Commissioner Ravi Bangar today called on H.E. Mr. Marios Demetriades, Minister of Transport, Communication and Works and exchanged views on further enhancing existing excellent, traditionally historic relations between India and Cyprus. They also discussed possibilities of cooperation in the area of space sciences. High Commissioner presented to the Minister scale models of India’s space launcher, satellites, books, publications and poster. On the occasion, Mr. Stelios Tsangarides, President of the Cyprus Astronomy and Space Academy and Mr. Yiorgos Tzivas, Founder of the Science and Space Café were also present. These presents will be on a permanent display at the Science and Space Café in Nicosia.
