Herat Security Dialogue (HSD-VIII), 2019, Herat, Afghanistan 8th Herat Security Dialogue (HSD-VIII) was organized by Afghanistan Institute for Strategic Studies on 18-19 October 2019 in Herat. Diplomats, Scholars, Analysts, Writers, Representatives from various countries and institutions attended the Conference. Shri Vinay Kumar, Ambassador, Embassy of India in Kabul, Shri Gautam Mukhopadhaya and Shri Rakesh Sood, Former Indian Ambassadors to Afghanistan, MEA, Shri Gajraj Singh Bhati, Consul General, CGI, Herat, Ms. Jyoti Malhotra, National and Strategic Affairs Editor, The Print, Shri Kabir Taneja, Associate Fellow and Head of West Asia initiative, Observer Research Foundation, Shri Rashim Bali, Defense Attaché and Shri Bastian Chacko, Second Secretary, Embassy of India, Kabul represented India at the Conference. The focus point of the Conference was “Afghanistan Settlement: Opportunities and Obstacles”. |
