Security Advisory Regarding Anti Government Elements
Anti Government Elements (AGEs) have resumed their Spring Offensive after the spell of fairly long Winter by perpetrating many incidents of violence in variousparts of Afghanistan in the recent past. Meanwhile, inputs received so far indicate that these AGEs could try to focus on Indian interests, both in government and nongovernment sectors, in order to see undermined Indian's presence.
2. Though all concerned security components have been sensitized, it is advisable to be more security conscious in the coming days. Please smug a surprise element in your movements by changing timings and routes and also stay safe at your place of residence. Unnecessary movements in the city, including in crowded areas like restaurants, markets and Malls may be avoided.
3. In past also, such threat inputs were received and by taking due precautions these were neutralised. This time also please to do the same and it is advised to followall security drills and keeps oneself informed about the security scenario via localvisual/print media as well as through interaction with fellow colleagues.
4. This advisory is being issued to keep the addressees fully aware of the perceived threats and not to create panic or fear.
