Press Release on the Concluding ceremony of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 02.10.2020
Indian Embassy in Kabul celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi 2020 in Kabul today, which also marked the two years of celebrations in commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of the Mahatma. A documentary on life and work of Mahatma Gandhi was screened. Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Shri. Rudrendra Tandon emphasized relevance of Gandhian ideals and called for making Swach Bharat campaign a part of our daily life. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, the celebrations were held as an in-house event only.
