Transit Visa

1. Transit Visa

A transit visa is granted to a foreigner for the sole purpose of enabling him/her to travel through India (single journey) to a destination outside India.

Documents required:

• Copy of passport with at least 6 months’ validity from the date of proposed arrival date in India.
• Copy of E-tazkira or Taskira attested by National Statistics & Information Authority.
• Polio vaccination certificate
• Valid visa of destination
• Onward Air tickets from India.

NOTE: Grant of any type of visa is the sole discretion of the Embassy of India, Kabul.
