Public Notice for Visa Applicants
IMPLEMENTATION OF ONLINE VISA APPLICATION SYSTEM
Embassy of India in Kabul would be implementing online visa application system from May 3, 2015 onwards. The new visa system also involves enrollment of fingerprint and facial biometrics of the visa applicants.
Afghan visa applicants with ordinary passports would be required to register the visa applications at the website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in 
and thereafter are required to submit the printout of visa application(s) at the Visa Service Centre (VSC), M/s Shahir Travel Agency, Shahr-e-Naw, Charahi Haji Yaqub, Police Station No.10 Street, House No.5, Kabul.
Afghan Service and Diplomatic passport holders as well as non-Afghanistan foreigners holding Service and Diplomatic Passports are required to register the visa applications at the website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in and thereafter are required to submit the printout of visa application(s) directly at the Consular Wing of the Embassy at Malalai Watt, Sher-e-Naw, Kabul. These visa applications should be accompanied with Note Verbale of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan or Note Verbale from their respective Embassies, as applicable.
Non-Afghan foreigners holding ordinary passports are required to register the visa applications online at the website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in and submit printout of the online visa application form and supporting documents at the Consular Wing of the Embassy at Malalai Watt, Sher-e-Naw, Kabul.
It may be noted that unless the applicant submits the printout of the online visa application at the Embassy/Visa Service Centre after duly registering the application at the website https://indianvisaonline.gov.in , the application would not be processed.
