India's National Search for the Top 25 Social Innovations
1. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) (Economic Diplomacy Division) and NITI Aayog (Atal Innovation Mission) are jointly organizing the National Contest on Social Innovation. The Contest shall identify and showcase 25 best socially relevant and scalable Innovations at the forthcoming Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2017 at Bengaluru.
2. Atal Innovation Mission & MEA in association with MyGov have launched the contest. Details and application form for the contest can be accessed at the link https://innovate.mygov.in/social-innovation-contest/ 
3. We reach out to you through this communication and encourage you to participate by sending in your applications highlighting your Innovations, on or before December 5, 2016, on which date the call for the application closes.
4. The top 25 innovators would be invited to exhibit their innovations at the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas celebrations. The MEA shall also facilitate the creation of a community of innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, grant bodies, and mentors to support the selected startups for commercialization and scale up.
