Tree Plantation Drive to commemorate 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji

For a clean and green environment and to celebrate the World Environment Day in Ulaanbaatar, Indian Embassy organized a special plantation drive on June 5 and planted 550 trees/saplings at the National Garden Park, Ulaanbaatar also commemorating the 550th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Ambassador joined, Ms. B. Undarmaa, MP, Ms. Saranchimeg Batsukh, MP, Chief Abbot of Gandan Tegchenling Monastery, Chief Abbot of Daischoling Monastery and more than 200 participants from all walks of society including School/University students, teachers, monks, members of Indian community and Mongolian friends to plant 550 trees.[More Photos]
