50 Afghan Students send for Army Officers Training at Indian Military Academy

Fifty young students from Afghanistan selected to be trained in the Indian Military Academy, the cradle of leadership.  After the one and a half years training these young students will be transformed into men.  The Ethos, the culture, the tradition of Indian Military Academy will help imbibe in them the requisite qualities of a brave soldier who would lead from the front. The academy will inculcate in them the spirit of leadership, team spirit, camaraderie and to uphold the highest moral & ethical values.  The group of young students is sent for military training under India Technical and Economic Cooperation. Such efforts by both the govts will not only help in strengthening the Afghan National Army but will give a fresh impetus to bilateral relationship between both the countries.
