Security Advisory Regarding Ramadan will be prosecuted and punished as per rule

As per a direction by the Supreme Court of Afghanistan, reported on local television anyone eating, drinking or smoking in public during Ramadan will be prosecuted and punished as per rule.  This includes those with exemptions from fasting (people travelling, the sick and nursing mothers) who are expected to eat and drink in private places.

    All the Indians residing in Afghanistan are advised to abide by the rules of Afghanistan Government by avoiding eating, drinking or smoking in public during day light hours, including while in vehicles, in the duration of the month of Ramadan.
