Visa Services
Visa for Specified Nationals:
1. Nationals of Afghanistan, Argentina, Bangladesh, Democratic People’s Republic Korea (DPRK), Jamaica, Maldives, Mauritius, South Africa, and Uruguay are issued
Gratis Visa
2. Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan nationals are required to apply in Visa Application Form specifically meant for them. Nationals of Bangladesh are issued gratis visa. Pakistani nationals are charged only US$ 1/- as visa fee + US $ 25/-
towards communication charges.
3. Nationals of Nepal and Bhutan do not require visa. However, Nepali nationals require visa if they enter India from China, which will be granted gratis.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Only recent passport size color photograph showing full frontal view of the face without dark/coloured glasses will be accepted.
2. Cases requiring reference will be granted Visa only after receipt of approval from concerned authorities.
3. The Embassy has the sole discretion to determine duration of the Visa and the number of Entries in each case. Visa can be refused to any person without assigning any reason.
4. Visa fee once accepted will Not be refunded.
5. Additional documents may be sought and a personal interview may be warranted, in certain cases.
6. Validity of Visa starts from the date of its issue.
7. If visa applicant is not normally resident in DR Congo or Republic of Congo or Gabon or Central African Republic visa processing may take longer time. Additional US $ 25 will be charged and additional documents may be sought.

9. PIO/OCI card holders will require prior permission of the Government of India to undertake any missionary, mountaineering and research work
10. Nationals of Morocco, Nigeria, Angola, Tanzania, Canada, and Kenya are required to submit a letter of introduction from their respective Missions in Kinshasa.

- Provisional admission or confirmed admission letter from a recognized educational institution in India.
- A letter of financial support from the parent/Guardian accompanied by a Bank Guarantee/Certificate for the duration of course/study.
- Evidence of transfer of adequate Funds for at least 4 months sustenance in India or travelers cheque/Demand Draft (DD) for US$ 2000/ in the name of student.
- Diploma translation in English

Note: 1) All nationals visiting from DR Congo, ROC, Gabon & CAR to India need Yellow fever Vaccination card
2) In case of medical/ paramedical education, a 'No Objection Letter’ from the Ministry of Health, Government of India is also required to be furnished. Maximum of three entries are allowed in a year.
3) Student Visa holders are required to register with the nearest Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO)/Foreigners Registration Office (FRO) within 14 days of arrival in India.
4) A Student Visa (valid for duration of study, up to the maximum validity of five years) is normally issued

- A letter of Admission from the recognized hospital/doctor in India.

Imp-An Entry Visa is normally granted to a person of Indian origin (who is not a holder of PIO/OCI cards) or for a specific purpose not covered under other categories of visas
