Admission to Nalanda University for Academic Session 2017-18
Nalanda University was established at Rajgir (Bihar) as an international institution of academic excellence under an Act of Parliament – The Nalanda University Act, 2010. The University, administered by Ministry of External Affairs, was formally inaugurated by the External Affairs Minister on 19th September 2014. Three Schools of studies - School of Historical Studies, School of Ecology and Environment Studies and School of Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religions have already started functioning. The University has a current strength of over 150 students in all the three Schools including 20 foreign students from various countries such. The University has started the admission process for the academic year 2017-18.
